This is the international seal of approval for health care.
And Beirut’s Clemenceau Medical Center has earned it.
Congratulations to our colleagues on meeting the rigorous quality and safety standards of Joint Commission International—from your friends at Johns Hopkins Medicine International.
Since 1889, Johns Hopkins has worked to raise the standard of excellence in health care in the United States and the world. That’s why in 2002, we signed an affiliation agreement with Clemenceau Medical Center in Beirut.
Since Clemenceau opened three years ago, Johns Hopkins experts in Baltimore have exchanged knowledge—collaborating on complex diagnoses and sharing the latest techniques and technologies—with their colleagues at Clemenceau to ensure the best care for the people of Lebanon and beyond.
Today, we salute the employees of Clemenceau Medical Center as their hospital joins the select few in the world that have met the rigorous quality and patient safety standards of Joint Commission International—and our own high standards.
