Clemenceau Medical Center affiliated with Johns Hopkins International participated in the Health Care Travel Exhibition and Congress which took place in Dubai on 15, 16, and 17th of November 2009 where healthcare professionals interacted on a variety of business platforms.
Healthcare Travel Exhibition & Congress brings together the entire cluster involved in medical travel at one specific event that is dedicated to the development of this growing sector.
CMC booth at the exhibition attracted a large number of visitors who where interested in the medical treatment in Lebanon.
At the congress CMC team was a key speaker with three presentations:
Dr. Mounes Kalaawi, Chief Executive Officer of CMC was a speaker in the roundtable discussion under the title of Growing Healthcare Demand in the Middle East. He presented a clear vision about the demand and supply of healthcare in the Middle East, the services that the Middle East is in need of, and the Middle East Healthcare resident providers. Dr. Kalaawi also gave a presentation on Developing International Patient Services Department. His speech concentrated on the International Office department precisely in Clemenceau Medical Center promoting the excellent quality customer services in delivering the essential needs of CMC’s international patients.
Dr. Marwan Ghosn, Director of Cancer Center at CMC gave a presentation on the Continuity of Care and Marketing strategies which covered the impact on the quality of care on patient’s safety with the means of providing continuity that has shown impact at all levels in the era of Medical travel and Tourism.
شارك مركز كليمنصو الطبي بالتعاون مع جونز هوبكنز انترناشونال في مؤتمر السياحة الطبية الذي عقد في دبي في الفترة ما بين 15-17 تشرين الثاني 2009 حيث يتم التواصل بين مختلف مرافق الرعاية الصحية للنهوض بالسياحة الطبية ولتوفير أفضل عناية ممكنة للمرضى على مستوى الشرق الأوسط.
استقطب ركن الCMC في المؤتمر عدد كبير من الزائرين الذين أبدوا اهتمامهم في الخدمات الطبية المتوفرة في لبنان, وبدور لبنان كمركز مميز للاستشفاء في المنطقة. كما كان فريق مركز كليمنصو الطبي من أهم المحاضرين خلال المؤتمر حيث شارك بثلاث محاضرات رئيسية.
الدكتور مؤنس قلعاوي الرئيس التنفيذي لمركز كليمنصو الطبي كان محاضراً حول موضوع الرعاية الطبية ومتطلباتها ونموها في الشرق الأوسط.
اذ قدم رؤية واضحة عن نسبة العرض والطلب في مجال السياحة الطبية في الشرق الأوسط والخدمات والرعاية الصحية التي هي بأمس الحاجة اليها. بالاضافة الى ذلك ألقى د. قلعاوي محاضرة عن العلاقات الخارجية مع المرضى اذ تمحورت حول قسم الخدمات الدولية في CMC الذي يتميز بتقديم مختلف الخدمات بما فيها الخدمات الاستشارية التي يحتاج لها المرضى في الخارج.
كما وألقى د. مروان غصن رئيس قسم السرطان في مركز كليمنصو الطبي محاضرة تحت عنوان استمرارية العناية الطبية التي تسلط الضوء على تأثير نوعية العناية على سلامة المرضى وامكانية توفير وسائل لهذه الاستمرارية في السياحة الطبية.
