Post Embryo Transfer Instructions
•It is normal to experience cramping after the embryo transfer.
• Complete rest for two days.
• Avoid lifting heavy items.
• Pelvic rest till pregnancy test is done.
• Avoid rough exercises.
• Avoid long distance rides.
• Do not exaggerate climbing stairs within the same day.
• Some leakage may occur due to washing the cervix during the procedure.
• You may shower normally.
• Avoid constipation by eating a high fiber diet.
• Avoid cigarette smoking and minimize caffeine and alcohol consumption.
• Avoid raw meats and spicy food.
• Proper wash of vegetables.
• Continue your medication as indicated till the pregnancy test date; your medication schedule
will be determined by the result.
