DIGESTIVE DISEASE AND LIVER CENTER
The center offers comprehensive clinical services in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal tract, pancreatic and liver diseases. The endoscopy unit is designed, equipped and staffed to provide excellent patient care. A complete range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures are performed safely, successfully and mostly on outpatient bases. In addition, a wide range of non-endoscopic gastrointestinal and liver procedures are performed in the unit. Our clinical services include out patient services and inpatient services with ICU facilities for severely ill patients. The department’s highly trained personnel work in close association with the CMC’s high-tech radiology department, excellent histopathology service and our dedicated nutrition unit. We are supported by a powerful department of surgery gearing it self to establish liver transplant program.
