The department of General Surgery provides evaluation and treatment of the full range of complex general surgery problems, working closely with other specialists involved in each patient's care to diagnose and provide timely surgical intervention for complex conditions.

What do we treat
The department provides modern and comprehensive surgical care for routine problems and for critically ill patients, including the Minimally Invasive Surgery Program which offers a full spectrum of minimally invasive & Laparoscopic procedures as well as Bariatric surgery, Breast surgery, Endocrine surgery, Hepatobiliary Surgery.
The Colon & Rectal Surgery program offers consultative, diagnostic and therapeutic services to both outpatients and inpatients for disorders of the colon and rectum. Services and procedures available include: diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, endo-rectal ultrasound, surgery for cancer and other diseases of the colon, rectum and anus.
