Breast Center

Every year, thousands of women die from breast cancer. This number could decrease if all women follow a recognized screening program. Even with all the latest advances in the treatment of breast cancer, the best chance for survival is early detection. Therefore the Clemenceau Medical Center Breast Center offers state-of-the-art screening and diagnostic services, including a complete physical examination. Digital mammography- a technique that provides superior images and improved application over traditional mammography films- along with high-resolution ultrasound and breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), which is becoming a great addition in a variety of breast diseases.

The scope of this center is to provide an immediate diagnosis and plan of treatment, and for that a FNA (Fine Needle Aspiration) Unit is established within the center, where any abnormal findings will be sampled during the same visit and diagnosis established within half an hour. At Clemenceau Medical Center we are committed to giving women rapid access to consultation if a concern is raised by mammography or discovery of a lump. For emotional support, the Survivor Volunteers - women from all walks of life who have had breast cancer - now provide one-on-one counseling to newly diagnosed patients.

The staff of Clemenceau Medical Center is always here to answer questions and to help schedule your initial consultation.
