Same Day Surgery
The Same Day Surgery unit at Clemenceau Medical Center has been designed to allow the patient
the convenience of having his surgery in a comfortable, safe environment and going home the
very same day.
Clemenceau Medical Center has dedicated a specific ward for patients
undergoing ambulatory surgeries. This particular section consists of
its own entrance and waiting room in order to facilitate the patients’
in and out process from the hospital. At the same time, the complete
resources of the hospital are readily available to meet your medical
needs throughout your surgery and recovery.
The unit is staffed by a team of highly qualified and experienced nurses who cater to the unique needs of same-day patients. These nurses, and all other Same Day Surgery staff members, are extremely focused. They are here to provide their patients with the finest medical treatment during their stay and stand ready to assist them in their full recovery. Their goal is to make each patient’s return home with a relaxed, positive attitude conducive to healing.
Certain procedures have also been established to ensure 24 hour continuous care after the patient has checked out. An independent division is fully equipped with
up-to-date technology and monitoring systems that allow for treatment follow-ups from home.
