Background

Dr. Eliane El Khoury Eid is the Chief of Department of the Emergency at the Clemenceau Medical Center, Beirut, Lebanon. She graduated first in Lebanon from the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) as a Family doctor, then did one year of medical education in USJ, before heading to France where she specialized as an emergency physician in the University of Picardy Jules Verne in Amiens France and underwent her training in the emergency medicine in SAMU 80 that covers the whole Picardie region in France.

After coming back to Lebanon, she worked in the emergency department of Hotel Dieu de France University Hospital, where she was also involved in research and teaching in the family medicine department. She joined CMC emergency department in September 2016.
