Medical History and Physical Examination

The cornerstone of the Premier Executive Health Check is the interaction with one of our certified internists for your complete physical exam and one-on-one communication. At this point, you will be able to review your family and medical history, as well as any healthcare problems or concerns.

Laboratory Screening Tests
  • Complete blood count
  • Urinalysis
  • Blood chemistries evaluation
  • Kidney function tests
  • Fasting blood sugar
  • Liver function tests
  • Thyroid function tests
  • Lipid evaluation through cholesterol assessment
  • HbA1c (blood sugar storage test)
  • Urine microalbumin (for diabetes mellitus)
  • Cancer Screening: Carcinoembryonic Antigen, CA 125 (tumor detection in women)
  • Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA): for men over age 40, to detect prostate cancer or enlargement
Cardiac Evaluation
  • Cardiac Echocardiogram: evaluates heart valves, muscle, and major vessels (aorta and pulmonary arteries)
  • Cardiac Stress Test: screens for coronary artery disease, hypertension, abnormal heart rhythms, and evaluates response to physical activity
  • Ultra-Fast CT Scan (Revolution Apex): for evaluation of coronary artery disease
Carotid Ultrasound

Screening of the carotid arteries in the neck for atherosclerosis and risk of stroke.

Pulmonary Function Tests

Evaluates lung performance, diagnoses lung diseases, and measures severity of lung conditions.

Colonoscopy

A fiber-optic evaluation of the entire colon to identify polyps, cancer, or other abnormalities.

Total Body CT Scan

A diagnostic technique using computed tomography to help identify potential problems before symptoms appear.
The scan evaluates six major areas: heart, major blood vessels, lungs, abdomen, pelvis, and brain.

Includes:

  • Lung CT Scan: detects very small lung cancers before they appear on X-rays, while still surgically curable
  • Neck CT: evaluates carotid arteries and thyroid abnormalities
  • Abdominal & Pelvic CT Scan: assesses liver, kidneys, abdominal aorta, and internal organs for abnormalities
  • Brain Scan: detects abnormalities
Bone Density Evaluation

For both men and women, to detect osteoporosis or osteopenia.

Nutritional Counseling

Based on your overall assessment, medical history, and personal goals, the dietician provides:

  • Nutritional counseling
  • Guidance on sports nutrition and dietary supplements
  • Healthy eating tips for dining out and traveling
Eye Examination
  • Vision screening test
  • Eye pressure check for glaucoma risk
  • Evaluation for cataracts
Audiogram

Evaluation of hearing, with recommendations for amplification or preservation as needed.

Meeting the Needs of Women

Recommended for individuals experiencing upper gastrointestinal symptoms.

Vaccinations

Adult-recommended vaccines will be reviewed and administered as appropriate.

Laser Vision Correction Consultation

Comprehensive evaluation using state-of-the-art technology.

Stress Management

A confidential consultation with an experienced psychologist to examine professional and personal stress triggers, psychological responses, and coping strategies.

Body Fat Assessment

Conducted by a dietician to determine body fat percentage, desired parameters, and target weight.

Skin Examination

A dermatologist performs a full-body skin exam to check for skin cancer, rashes, moles, and other lesions.

Physical Fitness Profile

A physiologist establishes personalized guidelines and recommendations for home exercises and required equipment, if necessary.

Making an Appointment
A Typical Visit
  • On the morning of your visit, you will be greeted by your Executive Nurse, who will review your schedule and address any questions or concerns.
  • Your physician will then perform a complete physical examination. Together, you will discuss any additional tests that may be appropriate based on your evaluation.
  • You will spend the remainder of the first day and part of the second day completing tests across different departments in the center.
  • After completing your itinerary, you will meet with your coordinating physician to review and discuss the test results. Additional recommendations for treatment, care, or follow-up may be provided.
  • A written report summarizing your results will be mailed to you shortly after your final visit.
Preparing for Your Visit

Please bring the following with you on the day of your appointment:

  • A list of your current medications and their dosages
  • Pertinent medical information and any X-rays
  • Comfortable clothing and shoes (for the treadmill test)
  • Any other instructions provided to you for test preparation
  • Arrive on the first morning having fasted for 12 hours
