Your own International multi-lingual Patient coordinator is available to coordinate all aspects of your visit, from your first contact with Clemenceau Medical Center until your departure, such as:

 

-Management of medical consultation and hospital admission

-Travel and hotel arrangements for you and your family
-Air ambulance transportation depending on the distance and your condition
-Assistance in choosing the right doctor
-Scheduling of all medical appointments
-Coordination of admission process
-Processing of second medical opinion and remote consultations via telemedicine, with Johns Hopkins Medicine International, if needed

International Patients at CMC will be presented with the Patient Bill of Rights. Below are some points specifically addressed to medical tourists.

International Patients have the right to:

 

-Receive medical care and treatment of standard of quality comparable to that received by any patient attended by the same physician in the same facility and receive skilled emergency care if needed.
-Request and receive, prior to treatment, a complete estimate of charges for your medical care or treatment.
-Receive information about all prescribed medications including their names and alternative names as they may be known by in your country of residence, their normal actions and potential side effects as may apply to you.
-Be informed of quality assurance department and services and have any possible complaints examined and dealt with thoroughly and on a timely manner; and be informed about the outcome.
-Receive timely and prioritized scheduling of consultations, surgery and treatment, and timely response to requests and inquiries when you have work and travel constraints.
